This position is located in the Boulder Colorado office. We are focused on developing test and measurement equipment for cryogenic and quantum computing. PURPOSE
  • This position takes a leading role in the creation and refinement of technical documentation both customer and internal facing. This individual will work with the systems engineering team in creating user manuals, product descriptions, compliance reports, standard operating procedures, and many other kinds of technical material. This individual will need to develop an understanding of the information needed to fully document each system, they must be more than a scribe of other's work. They will play an active role with the engineering team making wise choices that lead to better, easier to make products, driven by a clear internal vision of the engineering team's deliverables and strategic roadmap.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Working in the Microsoft office suite (and/or related software such as Adobe PageMaker) to create detailed, accurate, revision-controlled documentation.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to make good high-level choices that lead to professional, understandable, communicable, and documented products, services, and processes.
  • Estimating timelines to complete large documentation packages.
  • Interpreting CAD drawings of mechanical and electrical systems.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
  • A technology background or training is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with system design standards including SEMI, and NFPA is a plus.
  • Attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communications skills are critical.
  • Candidate should be able to effectively coordinate with various departments and stakeholders and be able to work both independently and within a team.
The pay range for this role in Boulder, CO is between $72,100 and $94,605. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Benefits offered for this role include medical, dental, vision, EAP, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending and savings accounts, 401(k), ESPP and paid time off.
