Stanley Consultants is hiring for a Design Manager to be based on site with our U.S. Air Force client at Tyndall AFB. This position will be responsible for managing the planning and design of Military Construction (MILCON) and Facility Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (FSRM) projects on behalf of the client, using knowledge, processes and expertise to execute a project or group of projects conceptualized by a preliminary requirement or work order to its successful conclusion. You will coordinate closely with the project management staff within the PMO, as well as stakeholders (both internal and external to the U.S. Air Force) as required.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in successfully performing design, construction, and delivery on large design and construction programs. The position requires a person with strong leadership and communications skills, the ability to influence others to obtain successful results, demonstrated organizational and political acumen, and the skill to coordinate a diverse team of technical experts under the supervision and direction of the PMO Director.
